Asin Thottumkal - Brand ambassador for Kochi IPL team?

Asin seems to have bitten by the IPL bug. The latest news is that actress Asin, who was already popular in South Indian cinema and made it big in Bollywood with her debut film Ghajini, will soon be a brand ambassador for the recently-formed Kochi IPL cricket team, jointly owned by Venugopal, Shailendra Gaikwad and Shashi Tharoor, Minister of State for External Affairs, who’s also an MP from Trivandrum.


There are reports that the organizers are convinced that Asin, who hails from Kerala, would be the right choice and a big star attraction and crowd puller for their team, which will participate in the 2011 season.
