Nitin’s body arrives from Australia 

Nitin Garg’s body arrived at Delhi airport from where it was taken to his native place. Nitin, who was pursuing an accounts degree course in Melbourne, had migrated from Punjab and had taken permanent residency in Australia. He is from nearer to Amritsar in Panjab.Nitin Garg fell victim to a racist attack in Australia broughtto India on Saturday.

The body, brought in an Emirates flight, was handed over to Nitin’s brother and father.While Nitin’s family alleged that this attack is racial Australian high commission says it is not racial.

According to the family, Nitin was beaten up by a group at the Newport railway station once before also.

Nitin’s family alleged that they faced troubles at Australia and here in India also.They said there is no help from Indian authorities .Even handing over of Nitin’s body took very long. They said they had to arrange for the ambulance themselves.

James Cameron Ready for Avatar Sequel !…
20th Century Fox would want to make an “Avatar” sequel, since the first movie has already become the second highest grossing film off all time. But with so many projects that director James Cameron is rumored for, how realistic is it that he’ll return for a second installment?

Following a screening of “Avatar” at the Arclight theater in Hollywood, Cameron answered some questions from the audience. One of the questions was whether fans can expect a sequel, to which Cameron replied that the plan has always been to make a trilogy. He then confirmed: “Yes, there will be another.”

Cameron was joined by his visual effects artists, who mentioned that the second film will be much easier to make since all the hard work has already been done and the technology now exists. So maybe “Avatar 2″ can be made under $500 million.

In another interview, Cameron talked about exploring the Pandora solar system by visiting the other neighboring moons.

Sankranthi stakes are high for Tollywood

Tollywood is all set to stake around Rs. 150 crores in the coming Sankranthi. The who’s who of the industry are all set to test their “satta” in the days ahead. Nagarjuna, NTR Jr, Venkatesh and Ravi Teja are among the prominent heroes who will battle it out at the box office. But producers have something bigger to worry about than the fickle minded Friday fortunes. The Telengana issue is simmering, though at the background for the moment. All it takes is one opportunistic member to raise a non-existent issue and blow it out of proportion. The producers of these big-budget movies are a nervous lot. In fact Bellam Konda Suresh is reshooting all scenes of Roja with another actress in the Ravi Teja starrer. The experience of Saleem and Arya2 is only too fresh in their minds. Especially in Hyderabad there are also a few big budget English movies lined up for release and this could take away the multiplex crowd. Avatar’s success is a case in point.

Allu Arjun-V V Vinayak’s new film to go on sets in March

Allu Arjun had recently signed a new film which will be directed by V V Vinayak. The duo had earlier worked together for ‘Bunny’. This new film has been tentatively titled as ‘Badrinath’. Allu Aravind will produce the film on ‘Geetha Arts’ banner. The latest news is that V V Vinayak has finalized the script and Allu Aravind has given the green signal to start the project. The film is likely to go on sets in March. V V Vinayak’s latest film starring Jr.NTR ‘Adhurs’ is ready for release this Sankranthi. Allu Arjun is acting in Gunasekhar’s “Varudu” and also in Krish’s “Vedam”. Both of them are likely to release in March. More details about this Allu Arjun and V V Vinayak’s film are yet to be revealed.

Congress goes easy on Telengana issue

If the Friday meeting is any indication, the Congress-led UPA Government has decided to go easy on Telengana. At the end of the Friday meeting it has indicated that it will wait for the situation to normalise before coming out with a mechanism for holding consultations on the Telangana issue. The leaders took stock of the situation in the state where the proponents of separate Telangana and unified Andhra have been at the loggerheads for almost a month now. The usual sound-byte specialist on both sides - like KCR and Lagadapati have been coerced into giving assurances with respect to peace and normalcy returning into the state. Meanwhile J C Diwaker Reddy and Raghuvera Reddy appealed to leaders from Rayalaseema and Andhra not to indulge in increasing levels of tension in an already emotional scenario. After a long period, Hyderabadis had a relatively peaceful weekend devoid of any bandhs and meetings. PCC President D.Srinivas indicated that the state will get back to normalcy and that all ministers would cooperate with C M Rosaiah

Allu Arjun’s ‘Varudu’ shooting in Ramoji Film City

Allu Arjun’s new film ‘Varudu’ is currently being shot in Ramoji Film city. Allu Arjun had gone on a long holiday to South America and he landed in Hyderabad last night. The shooting of ‘Varudu’ began today in Ramoji Film City. Majority of the film has already been shot except for couple of songs and action sequences. Gunasekhar who had earlier directed films like Okkadu, Arjun is directing thisfilm. DVV Danaiah is producing this film under the banner of Universal Media. Tamil hero Arya has been roped in to play a negative character in the film . A new heroine has been cast opposite Allu Arjun. Suhasini, Naresh, Asish Vidyarthi, Sayaji Shinde, Ahuti Prasad, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, Vinay Prasad and others are in the cast Mani Sharma is composing the music for thisfilm. The film is set to release in the last week of March, 2010.

Maa Telugu Talliki Song Re-shooted in Leader

Daggubati Rana’s debut movie ‘Leader’ story is a political drama based on today’s politics. The film recently earned ‘U’ certificate from the censor board. However, due to the political situations from past one month in our state, the director, Sekhar Kammula has re-picturised a song in the film, ‘Maa telugu talli ki’ by changing the lyrics of that particular song. Sekhar Kammula has done this to avoid future controversies on this film. The re-picturised song will be distributed in the Nizam area so that it covers whole telangana theaters, while the original version of the song will be distributed to A.P region

The movie is produced by M.Saravanan, M.S.Guhan, Aruna Guhan and Aparna Guhan under film under AVM Productions banner. This is 174th film for AVM Productions. Mickey J Meyer has composed the music and Thota Tharani is the art director and production designer. Richa Gangopadhya and Priya Anand, new comers, are starring as heroines.

Komaram Puli to release on Valentines Day

Power Star Pawan Kalyan fans are eagerly waiting for the release of his latest film ‘Komaram Puli.’ Because of his brief political entry during the last year, the shooting of the film was prolonged for many months. Finally, the film has completed its talky part and taking final touch ups. It is learnt that the film makers are planning to release the film on February 14th, which is earmarked as Valentine day. There were huge expectations on this film as it is directed by S.J. Surya who gave Pawan Kalyan a super hit film like film ‘Kushi,’ in the yesteryears. The film is produced by Singamala Ramesh and Music Maestro AR. Rehman is scoring music for this film.

Nikisha Patel, who was born and brought up in UK, is making her debut as heroine with this film.
